Creating Sakuryo’s Dictionary V2

In my previous post, I demonstrated some searches in my Japanese-English Dictionary, noting that the English one was quite poor.

The issue has been resolved, and I now have a dictionary that enables me to search in English, Japanese, or Romaji. Let us just get straight to showing off the search results:

This was unexpectedly hard to do as I ended up writing a custom weighted search ranking query using almost all the data points I have.

I am quite happy the dictionary’s core functionally is now complete. There is a bit more polish I need to put into the page, but soon after this I should be able to start centralizing everything around user data.
